Howdy
Anyone reading this can you give a holler. I missed you Tumblr. Huhu
After beating the game and bursting into a million sobbing smithereens, I really can’t have enough of Red, the omnipresent voice from the Transistor, Cloudbank, the Process, and the amazing soundtrack by Darren Korb and Ashley Barrett (who also did a great job with Bastion’s soundtrack). I have started New Game+ to get another go with the story. Here’s a tribute to Supergiant Games’ Transistor!
Hi guys! This artwork is now available on my Redbubble store!
Hi guys! I haven’t been online for a while now but after I logged into my Tumblr this morning (which welcomed me with a thick layer of internet dust), I was shocked at a spike in blog activity. And little did I know that it was about a post I made about two years ago.
Transistor is still deep in my heart, along with a few games I hold so dear. And because of that, I have made this artwork available as an art print on my Redbubble store! Hope you guys love it.
Hello Tumblr! And to all my nonexistent followers who are most probably still in the throes of recovering from post-Christmas festivity! Look at my Christmas haul! It’s not exactly a haul because they’re just three books but hell I can say what I want in this blog. Haha
Anyways, I got Mr. Penumbra’s 24-hour Bookstore for just 145 pesos even though it’s got a cut that goes 4 pages deep in the front which I assume is due to forcefully cutting through the package these books came in (damn you! but also thanks because you got this book on the bookstore). I’ve started reading it and it was fantastic. I suggest you go to the nearest bookstore and try and find this book because it is magical.
These Robert Rankin books are also quite awesome. They’re just the sort of crazy stuff I want to read. I found out when I looked it up on the Internet that they are part of a four-book series but I didn’t mind because I already have two! Now I just have to buy a decent copy online or just get an ebook or something.
BioShock: Rapture - Created by James Bernabe
I can’t believe it! So I’ve been on a very long Tumblr hiatus but I just knew about this! Thanks a bunch, @pixalry! I never thought my work would be featured here! This is such great honor!

So I decided to dive into my Tumblr inbox to backread messages and ended up awash in emotion as I looked back at the memories of the past - nah, I guess I should lighten up. But kidding aside, I really felt the bitter realization that most of the people I’ve been friends with on Tumblr are no longer active or chose to live their lives already. It’s sad. Anyways, to the very few souls who are still out there, greetings!
The first thing that will happen to you, minutes into BioShock Infinite,
is to get fired up in a pristine rocket (especially built for you, the
pilgrim) so you could get to the floating city of Columbia. And as you
ascend through the blanket of grey clouds and rain and panic, the voice
inside the rocket welcomes you to the sky city with a word,
“Hallelujah.” Until now, it’s still one of the best moments I’ve had
in BioShock Infinite. Enough babble! Here is an illustration I made of the
tower in Monument Island like the postcard Dewitt had with him.
Yeah.
Which one? I’ve been using Effector for a while, and I haven’t been active for a long while already so I haven’t bothered changing it. Maybe you mean the one I had maybe two, three, years ago?
Hello cool-gray-sphere-with-shades! I don’t usually use textures in my artworks but I make do with adding noise to my artworks to achieve the grainy look. If you can go off anon, I could send you a few of the textures I like to use from time to time. I forgot from which wormhole I downloaded these from, though.
Aaand, I don’t have a book I used to study graphic design. I just scoured the Internet for tutorials and inspiration to keep the creative juices flowing. Don’t stop looking for inspiration, always be on the lookout for great art.
I don’t really think that I am that good at graphic design after all this time but hey, thanks a lot! :D
The Wood card! Inspired by Apollo and Daphne by Bernini. Wee
The Rain card! Yipee!
The Watery Card! Yey!
Coloring the card artwork using just colored pencils is really tiring so I decided that I should move to watercolor instead! Here’s the second in line for the clow cards, the Fly, and the third one, the Shadow. I decided I could work on the deck according to the order of their capture. Yey! Hope I could keep this project up to the last card. Weee!
Back in the day, I watched Cardcaptor Sakura after school. I missed out on a lot of episodes and I have this friend of mine whom I’d ask during break time about the details of the episode I missed. So, in a rush of nostalgia, I kinda made a redo of the clow card starting with Windy because, of course, it is the freaking WIndy card - the awesome-est of all cards. Anyways, what do you think is the best clow card?
